📱 Installing the THQ Pets App – Step by Step
To use your PETLUX litter box properly, you must first install the app and create an account. To do this, follow the steps below:
1. Download the app
• iPhone (iOS): THQ Pets in de App Store
• Android: THQ Pets in Google Play
2. Create an account
1. Open the app and click on Register
2. Fill it. Email address in
3. Choose a password and enter this twice in (make sure both are identical)
4. Click on Get Code
5. Go to your mailbox (also check your spam folder)
6. You will receive an email from PETLUX or THQpets – copy the verification code
7. Go back to the app and enter the code
8. Accept the terms and conditions
9. Click op Submit and Register
🔔 Important: Allow the app to to use your location!
Without location permission, the connection will not work properly, especially on Android.
Your account is now created – time to pair your litter box!
📶 Pair your PETLUX V3 in the THQ Pets app
First make sure your wifi is set to a 2.4 GHz network. (Do you have Ziggo or KPN? Click here for instructions:
(follow the steps here to set up a 2.4 GHz network)
Then follow these steps:
1. Open the THQ Pets app on your phone
2. Check if the green wifi light on the litter box burns:
• Is the light on yet? Press and hold the WiFi button for 3 seconds until the light turns off
• Then press and hold the WiFi button again for 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the light turns on. blink
3. In the THQ app: click on the “+”-icon to add a device
4. If a popup appears, click on Next
5. The device is now visible in the App, click on connect
6. Enter your network details and click Next
(Attention! Check network name and password carefully)
7. the connection has been made. Click on Setup device or Return
(Sometimes it may take a while before you can click on Setup device, this means that the device is still being added to the App)
Can't connect?
Repeat steps 2 through 6:
• Set the wifi mode first out (pressed for 3 sec)
• Then put it back On (Pressed for 3 sec until beep + flashing light)
• Try pairing again, starting from step 2
🔒 Device not found?
Please check the following:
• Bluetooth on your phone is on
• The app has access to location and Bluetooth has
Both are needed for the connection, so give permission when prompted.
