Setting up 2.4 Ghz network Ziggo or KPN
Trouble Connecting? Here’s How to Set Up Your Wi-Fi Correctly
Our devices can only connect to a 2.4 GHz wifi network. Many modern routers have both a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz network, and sometimes they are combined under one name. This can prevent the device from connecting.
You can adjust this as follows:
🔧 Option 1: Temporarily separate router into 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
• Log into your router using a browser (type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.178.1 in the address bar).
• Find the WiFi settings and give the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks a separate name (for example: MyWifi-2.4G and MyWifi-5G).
• Connect the device to the 2.4 GHz network.
• Once the installation is complete, you can reset the settings if necessary.
⚙️ Option 2: Temporarily disable 5 GHz
• Log into your router and go to the WiFi settings.
• Temporarily disable the 5 GHz frequency.
• Connect the device to WiFi and then turn 5 GHz back on.
🌐 Option 3: Use a guest network
• Some routers let you set up a guest network that only uses 2.4 GHz.
• This can be a quick fix without changing your main network.

🔒 NB: If your device is not found, it is usually because:
